We’re seeking a detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to support our growing team. If you have experience in civil/survey drafting and enjoy working with terrain models and construction plans, this is a great opportunity to advance your career.
🛠️ What You’ll Do:
• Import, process, and analyze field survey data
• Design site layouts, plans, and contract documents
• Develop and manage TIN surfaces and terrain models
• Perform earthwork volume calculations and takeoffs
• Digitize grading plans, site plans, profiles, and cross sections
• Produce engineering and surveying drawings (construction plans & as-builts)
• Coordinate with field surveyors and project managers to ensure data accuracy and constructability
✅ Requirements:
• 1–3+ years of experience in civil engineering or land surveying drafting
• Experience with engineering and survey plan production, terrain modeling, and construction takeoffs
• Proficiency in:
- Carlson CAD (Survey & Civil modules)
- Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D
• Familiarity with GPS equipment (Topcon or similar) preferred
• Strong drafting insight and attention to detail
💰 Compensation & Benefits:
• Starting at $70,000+ per year (based on experience)
• Full-time position with benefits
