We are seeking a skilled and reliable Road Service Mechanic to join our team in Oxford, Connecticut. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of construction equipment in the field. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair construction equipment on-site
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision
- Maintain and organize tools and service vehicle
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment repair
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, and hydraulics
- Experience working with construction machinery
- Must have own hand tools
- Valid medical card required
- Ability to work independently in a road service environment
